Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to quickly let you know that Kickstarter has processed the funds and have begun the final transfer to my Cayman Island Bank Account (jk).
Meanwhile I finally figured out Backerkit and will be sending a "Smoke Test" Monday/Tuesday. I hope to send the real Surveys by the end of this week. All in all we're right on schedule!

Hey Everyone!
A backer reached out for an update and I realized it's been awhile since I posted. Thank you for your patience! I'm still learning. Plus I'm still getting settled after moving to North Carolina so it's been a little hectic around here.
The Kickstart funds still haven't arrived yet! *What the Heck* But it should be any day now since they estimated 14 days. Once those funds are in hand I can then send out the Backerkit Surveys.
Once I get those surveys back, I can drop names into the Thank You page and begin fulfillment.
I estimate digital delivery to be around mid to late March.
I estimate physical deliveries to be around mid-April.
I finished crafting the Deluxe PDF and Joel is wrapping up some graphic pieces for the book. I'll be doing my audio commentary in the next few days. Finally, we just sent print numbers to the printer.

Spotlight: Starside #4
Speaking of Looking to the stars...followers of me know that I like to spotlight my Discord community friends who are Kickstarting their stuff. This includes the Starside team who just debuted Issue #4 on Kickstarter. I actually own physical copies of their books, and have been thoroughly impressed so far. Successfully Funded - What's Next!?

WE DID IT! Thank you to everyone who made this Kickstarter a smashing success. Talking to some industry veterans, the consensus is that $5,400 and 280 backers for a Freshman Campaign is a truly spectacular rarity. I'm so grateful for all your support and I can't wait to bring Torch's story to you. When I first started this endeavor, all I hoped was for the opportunity to keep making comics. Thanks to this money, I'll be able to do that. Thank you for this amazing gift.
Amidst the final hours of the campaign, by sheer coincidence of timing, I was in the middle of a move to another state. We're still getting set up and finding our bearings. Unfortunately we won't have WiFi until Monday, which is the reason for my delayed Update. I'm using Mobile Hotspot to quickly get this update out!
So...what's next?
Once Kickstarter collects your funds and transfers them to me, I can begin fulfillment. Please be sure to check the card on file and make sure it isn't expiring soon.
After I get some WiFi, I will begin crafting "Surveys." For those new, these Surveys will ask you for stuff like shipping address, t-shirt sizes, your name in the book, and your choice of cover. These Surveys are REQUIRED. Do not ignore them when they come.
As you know this is my first Kickstarter, so please bear with me as I go through this next step. Fortunately Joel has done this several times and is in charge of talking with the printers and prepping the files.

5k Stretch Goal UNLOCKED! // FINAL DAY // Spotlight

Amazing, if you told me a month ago that this Kickstarter would run up to 5k, I wouldn't have believed you. Thank you everyone for the support. We have one last Stretch Goal in place. I reached out to Daniela and told her about the shattering of Stretch Goals and she came back with an amazing inked art piece of Torch. If we hit 6k, every physical backer will get this exclusive never-before-seen art print. Digital backers will get a digital copy. After this month, I believe anything is possible. If everyone shares this page, we can hit that goal.

Final Spotlight
During this journey of Indie Comic Creation, I found myself in this small close nit Discord Group of creators. We lent each other support and became digital friends. Among the group is Doug Wood, who just launched a massive 300 page Manga Anthology called PROJECT: Big Hype. This carefully curated book is a western Shonen-Jump Style book with 24 new exclusive stories by a variety of creators.

5th Milestone "Debrief" Unlocked

Hey Everyone! The 5th Milestone has been unlocked. All physical and digital backers will now receive a digital album with audio commentary on all 24 pages of Torch: Reclaim the Skies by yours truly. I work full time as an audio engineer so I'm excited to deliver this reward to you guys!
